Some types of chair are not suitable for this
course - these include tub or bucket type chairs, chairs with
sprung edges, with exposed wood (other than legs), and those
with attached cushions or buttons. The image to the left shows
an unsuitable chair type with a shaped front and sprung
edge, i.e. where your hand can go down between seat and arm.
Sofas are unfortunately not suitable for the course because
of access problems.
Otherwise, the course can cover everything from upholstered dining chairs through slipper (bedroom) chairs to armchairs. If you don't have a suitable chair but would still like to take the course, or if you are not sure whether your chair is suitable, please get in touch.
Do check that your chosen chair fits into your car before booking....!
