A botanical picture consisting of a myriad of
running stitches on a base of white,
pieced background. The piecing mirrors the
basic shape of the blossom. The inspiration is usually a photograph, which
is digitally enhanced in colour and shape. This
particular work was based on a photograph of an
Echevaria, but digitally enhanced.
