My textile work divides into
several categories:
v
Large botanical pictures of one blossom at a time,
usually in harmonious colours on white
background
v
Decorative,
very colourful, fused organza pictures
with beaded and sometimes embroidered
embellishment
v
Pictures using
the 'slashing' technique of several
layers of fabric, cut through and embellished
with beads and embroidery stitches
v
Pictures of
flowers or abstracts on mulberry paper,
painted and machine embroidered.
v
General
embroidery
v
Decorative,
small soft furnishings items, embellished
with beads and embroidery, such as cushions,
book covers etc
